Space Maze Arcade
Last updated: 31 July 2026
The short version. Space Maze Arcade is a free, ad-supported arcade game built to collect as little about you as possible. There is no account, no login and no sign-up. We show ads through CloudX, our ad mediation partner, with Meta Audience Network and InMobi as the advertising demand sources: rewarded videos you choose to watch, plus an occasional full-screen ad between runs (a one-off Remove Ads purchase removes those). Ads are personalised using your device’s advertising identifier only if you allow it: on iOS through Apple’s tracking prompt, and in the EEA, UK and Switzerland through an in-app consent prompt shown by the InMobi CMP. Decline and ads are non-personalised. The game plays the same either way. We use Google Play Games on Android or Apple Game Center on iOS for the optional leaderboards, and on iOS we use iCloud to sync your save across your own devices. We use Google’s Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is played, and we do not sell your personal information.
This policy explains how the game Space Maze (listed as Space Maze Arcade on the Apple App Store and on Google Play, the “App”, “we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you play, on both iOS and Android. The App is published by the developer of space-maze.com. For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected]. This policy applies to the App on both platforms, and not to any other website, service or product.
The App is ad-supported. Adverts are mediated by CloudX (cloudx.ai), the advertising mediation platform and supply-side platform built into the App, which requests and fills adverts from advertising demand sources. The demand sources we currently use are Meta Audience Network and InMobi. There are four placements: a rewarded video you can choose to watch to revive after a crash, a rewarded video you can choose to watch to double a run’s coins, a rewarded video you can choose to watch in the in-game shop in exchange for a small amount of in-game coins, and an occasional full-screen advert shown between runs. The optional Remove Ads purchase (see below) permanently removes the between-runs adverts; the rewarded videos remain available because you choose when to watch them. To serve ads and prevent ad fraud, the advertising SDKs in the App collect:
On iOS, the App shows Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt and asks your permission before any tracking. If you allow tracking, our advertising partners may personalise the ad using your Apple advertising identifier (IDFA) and may use it to measure advertising across apps. If you do not allow tracking, the App sends a non-personalised ad request and your IDFA is not used for targeting. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
On Android there is no tracking prompt. Our advertising partners may use your Android advertising ID to serve and measure ads. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland the App shows a consent prompt, provided by the InMobi CMP, before ads load, and serves non-personalised ads unless you consent. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads.
CloudX, Meta and InMobi handle the data they collect through the App under their own privacy policies and for their own purposes, rather than on our instructions, so please use their tools and policies to exercise any rights against that processing. Their policies are linked in section 08. We no longer use Google AdMob, and the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google’s consent form have been removed from the App.
If you enable leaderboards, the App submits your best scores so you can compare with others. On iOS this uses Apple Game Center. On Android this uses Google Play Games Services, which involves your Google Play Games player ID. Both are optional and you can play the whole game without signing in. We do not receive your name or email and do not store your leaderboard identity on our own servers. As part of running the leaderboards, Google Play Games also processes your gameplay and leaderboard activity, and technical and diagnostic data, to keep the service working. Apple Game Center is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy and Google Play Games by the Google Privacy Policy. You can delete your Play Games data from your Google Account.
The App uses Apple iCloud Key-Value Storage to sync your saved game — best scores, coin balance, owned ship skins, settings and your Remove Ads purchase status — across the devices signed into your Apple Account. This data is stored in your own iCloud account, managed and secured by Apple. We do not operate a server that receives or stores this data, and there is no Sign in with Apple and no account involved, it simply syncs your own saved game. iCloud is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. This cross-device sync is available on iOS only. On Android your saved game is stored locally on your device and is not synced to a cloud service by us.
The App offers optional in-app purchases: Remove Ads, which permanently removes the full-screen between-runs adverts, and a Supporter Pack of cosmetics. On iOS these are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. On Android they are processed by Google through Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your name, payment details or billing address, and the App only records which purchases are owned so it can apply them. Purchases are governed by Apple’s and Google’s terms and privacy policies.
Your local top-10 best-scores table and game settings are stored only on your device. This information stays on your device, other than the best-score value synced via iCloud as described above, and is not transmitted to us.
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is played, for example when a run starts and ends, which screens are viewed, when an ad is shown and when a purchase is made. Firebase assigns an app-instance identifier, may use your device’s advertising ID, and derives approximate location from your IP address. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. Firebase is provided by Google and governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
This website, space-maze.com, uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site: pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived here. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner (Google Consent Mode, denied by default); decline and Google Analytics receives only cookieless, aggregated pings. We do not link this data to you personally and we have enabled no advertising features on it. This applies to the website only, not to the App. Google processes this data under its own policies (see the Google Privacy Policy), and you can change your choice at any time via the Cookies link in the site footer or opt out entirely with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
The information above is used only to:
We do not profile you and we do not sell your personal information. If you allow tracking, our advertising partners may use your advertising identifier to personalise ads as described above, which some US state laws treat as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising. Decline the tracking prompt, or switch it off in iOS Settings, and that stops.
Whether ads are personalised depends on your answer to Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt described above. Allow tracking and ads may be personalised, decline and they are not. For users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, where local law requires opt-in consent for personalised advertising, the App shows a consent prompt before any ads load, and our advertising partners serve non-personalised ads unless that prompt records your consent.
That prompt is provided by the InMobi CMP (formerly Quantcast Choice), a consent management platform certified under the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) v2.3. Your choices are recorded by the CMP and passed to CloudX and to the advertising demand sources through that framework. You can change your choices at any time: the tracking permission in iOS Settings, and the consent prompt itself from the Privacy section of the in-game Settings, which lets you review and withdraw consent whenever you like.
Space Maze Arcade is a general-audience game. It is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your country, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will address it.
We do not operate our own user database, so we do not retain your personal information on our servers. Data handled by our advertising partners, CloudX, Meta and InMobi, and by the InMobi CMP is retained according to their own retention policies. Data handled by Google, for analytics and for Google Play Games, is retained according to Google’s own retention policies. Data held in Apple Game Center and Apple iCloud is retained by Apple and controlled by you through your Apple Account settings. On-device data remains until you delete the App or clear its data.
To request deletion of any data associated with your use of the App, email [email protected]. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads, and delete your Google Play Games data from your Google Account.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information.
You may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information, and to data portability. Because the App does not require an account, the personal data we are involved in is limited. For data processed as part of ad delivery, CloudX, Meta and InMobi determine their own purposes for that data, so please use their tools and policies, linked in section 08, to exercise rights against that processing. Our legal basis for showing non-personalised ads and keeping the App functioning is our legitimate interest in running a free, ad-supported game. Personalised ads are shown only with your consent, collected through the in-app InMobi CMP consent prompt and the iOS tracking prompt, and you can withdraw it at any time as described in section 04. You may contact us at [email protected] with any request or to complain, and you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We do not sell your personal information. If you allow tracking, personalised ad delivery by our advertising partners (CloudX, Meta and InMobi) may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CPRA. You can opt out at any time by declining the tracking prompt or switching it off in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, which stops it. You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To make a request, contact [email protected].
The App relies on the advertising, leaderboard and analytics services described above. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies:
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
